I love Art Deco, but I don't love matchy-matchy. I have chosen fixtures and fittings that I love, regardless of whether they could be said to be Art Deco. It might be more accurate to say that, as with the rest of the house, our new bathroom will reference Art Deco style, but will not be pure Art Deco.
This peaceful, pretty bathroom was inspiration for many of my fit out choices. All our tapware and exposed pipes are Brodware, from the Neu England range.
This is our faucet for the sink (and similar for the bath and shower) but with black levers. The shapes are not Art Deco, but the black levers will reference the black and white tile checkerboard floor and the patterned tile work in the shower.
We have chosen to have two wall lights (as well as the main exhaust/light/heating appliance, and two LED downlights).
And here is my choice for the cornice.
So, at last, something Art Deco! In turns out that the major works, for example, the tiling, the floors and the cornices are Art Deco in style but the fittings are not. I hope it pulls together nicely. I still need to choose a dresser for the wall opposite the vanity - we made the decision not to have built in cupboards/storage, but to have a piece of furniture in the space - more authentic to the era, I suppose.
