I got carried away on the weekend and made a sneaky Bell Pepper Coaster from Patchwork, Please. They looked so cute on the page, I couldn't help myself!
During the fabric try-outs for the green Bell Pepper Coaster, I realised I had a fabric that includes a bell pepper in its print. I used a piece of this fabric as a taggie. I admit I have never seen a bell pepper with a tag hanging out of its side, but oh, well - I think it looks cute!
When I was a little girl, I would count the number of sleeps left before a highly anticipated event. Five sleeps to Christmas, three sleeps to my birthday, six sleeps till the first day back at school. Recently, I have found myself counting down the number of sleeps to the sew along for Ayumi's Patchwork, Please. I have been busily stashing up, reading and re-reading the project instructions, auditioning fabric combinations (ladies in the back row, thank you but you haven't made it this time) and planning.
Late at night, once Bunny is asleep in his cot, I sit on the floor in my studio (the dining room) and pull out fabrics, try combinations, add a trim or button and make lists of supplies I need. Here are some photos of my stash for the sew along.
Counting down the sleeps till the sew along!
